- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 2-3 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a large baking dish or pan with butter or parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then incorporate lemon juice and zest.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving. Dust with powdered sugar and lemon zest before serving.
