Ingredients

  • 1 can Sardines (packed in water)
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter (natural, sugar-free)
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Carrots (finely grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Gather and measure out your sardines, peanut butter, oats, carrots, and parsley.
  3. Mash the sardines in a large mixing bowl until they’re mushy.
  4. Stir in the peanut butter until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  5. Add the oats and grated carrots, mixing until well combined.
  6. Scoop out portions and shape them into balls or flat discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Pack the cooled treats in an airtight container and freeze for up to three months.

Notes

For variation, you can substitute sardines with mackerel or tuna. Ensure to use natural, sugar-free peanut butter.
