Delightful frozen treats combining bananas, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate, perfect for a quick snack or a family gathering.

  • Total Time: 120 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate (high-quality)
  • Sea Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bananas by peeling and slicing them into thick rounds, about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Spread a spoonful of peanut butter on half of the banana slices and top with another slice to make a sandwich.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  4. Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Set the chocolate-coated sandwiches on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
  6. Freeze the baking sheet for about 1-2 hours or until the chocolate hardens and the banana bites are icy.
  7. Serve and enjoy by transferring to an airtight container, keeping them in the freezer for a frosty treat anytime!

Notes

Use just ripe bananas for the best texture. Experiment with different nut butters if desired.
