Ingredients
- 3 ripe Bananas
- 1 cup Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate (high-quality)
- Sea Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the bananas by peeling and slicing them into thick rounds, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Spread a spoonful of peanut butter on half of the banana slices and top with another slice to make a sandwich.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Set the chocolate-coated sandwiches on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
- Freeze the baking sheet for about 1-2 hours or until the chocolate hardens and the banana bites are icy.
- Serve and enjoy by transferring to an airtight container, keeping them in the freezer for a frosty treat anytime!
Notes
Use just ripe bananas for the best texture. Experiment with different nut butters if desired.
