Delightful frozen treats for your dog, made with nutritious ingredients like sweet potatoes, peanut butter, and bananas.

  • Total Time: 240 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened and unsalted peanut butter
  • 1 cup sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup whole oats
  • Water as needed for consistency

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by boiling or steaming sweet potatoes until tender. Mash and let cool.
  2. Mix the cooled sweet potatoes, peanut butter, and mashed banana in a large bowl. Stir in the oats until fully combined, adding water as needed for scoopable consistency.
  3. Mold the mixture into heart-shaped molds, packing it down gently but firmly.
  4. Freeze molds for at least 240 minutes or until solid.
  5. Serve frozen treats to your eager pooch and store extras in a freezer-safe bag.

Notes

For best results, place parchment paper underneath the molds for easier handling. Silicone cupcake liners or ice cube trays can be used as alternatives to heart-shaped molds.
