Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, mashed
- ½ cup honey
- 1 egg, beaten
- ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking sheet with coconut oil.
- Combine the whole wheat flour and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
- Mash the fresh strawberries, then mix in honey, beaten egg, and melted coconut oil.
- Add the wet mixture into the dry flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness and shape into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for up to two weeks. These biscuits can be frozen for up to three months.
