Ingredients
- 1-2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1-1.5 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 egg
- 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the honey until well combined.
- Add the egg and peanut butter, mixing until everything is blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour and rolled oats, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a couple of minutes until smooth.
- Roll the dough to about half an inch thickness and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the biscuits to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
