- 1 box Vanilla Cake Mix (or homemade vanilla cake)
- 2-3 large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk (or a non-dairy alternative)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips (dark, milk, or white chocolate)
- Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare the cake: Follow package instructions if using a mix, or cream together butter and sugar, then add eggs and milk if making from scratch.
- Bake the cake according to instructions and let it cool completely.
- Make the cakesicles: Crumble the cooled cake in a large bowl and add frosting to bind. Mix until it holds together.
- Shape into small rectangular shapes and insert wooden sticks. Freeze for about an hour.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth. Dip each cakesicle in chocolate and let excess drip off. Optionally, sprinkle with toppings.
- Place dipped cakesicles on a parchment-lined tray to cool completely in the fridge. Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer for up to a month.
