- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder

- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or skillet with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Create a well in the dry mixture and add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; stir until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Gently pour the boiling water over the batter.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until edges are set but center remains soft.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving, preferably with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
