- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh herbs (rosemary or parsley)
- Optional: plain pumpkin puree or mashed sweet potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the flour, chicken broth, egg, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
- Mix until a dough forms, adding more flour if too sticky or a drop of water if too dry.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place the biscuits on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool completely before serving and store leftovers in an airtight container.
