Ingredients
- 1 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter
- 1 cup pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or almond flour for gluten-free)
- 1 egg (or unsweetened applesauce for vegan alternative)
- 1 cup rolled oats (or oat flour for smoother texture)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the peanut butter and pumpkin in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the egg and stir until well incorporated.
- Gradually mix in the flour, followed by the oats and cinnamon until dough is slightly sticky and thick.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes.
- Place the shapes on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool completely before serving to your pup.
