Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in cocoa powder until well combined.
- Transfer the butter-cocoa mixture to a bowl and add both granulated and brown sugars. Mix until well combined.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, folding until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing each cookie for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
