- 1 cup freshly brewed coffee

Instructions
- Brew a strong cup of your favorite coffee.
- For homemade butterscotch, melt ½ cup of butter, stir in 1 cup of brown sugar, and add ½ cup of heavy cream, mixing until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- In a mug, combine one part brewed coffee and one part butterscotch sauce, adjusting to taste.
- Add your choice of milk or cream, stirring gently.
- Sweeten if desired, and top with whipped cream, cinnamon, or chocolate shavings.

Notes
