Ingredients

  • 2 cups roasted butternut squash
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (natural, unsweetened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the butternut squash: Cut in half, remove seeds, and roast cut-side down for 30-40 minutes until tender. Let cool, then scoop out the flesh.
  3. Mix together the roasted butternut squash, whole wheat flour, peanut butter, egg, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the biscuits are hard and lightly golden.
  6. Cool completely before serving to your pet.
