Ingredients
- 2 cups roasted butternut squash
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (natural, unsweetened)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the butternut squash: Cut in half, remove seeds, and roast cut-side down for 30-40 minutes until tender. Let cool, then scoop out the flesh.
- Mix together the roasted butternut squash, whole wheat flour, peanut butter, egg, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the biscuits are hard and lightly golden.
- Cool completely before serving to your pet.
Notes
Store biscuits in an airtight container for up to one week. Freeze for up to three months.
