- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup Plain Yogurt (unsweetened)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil (or Vegetable Oil)
- Optional: Pinch of cinnamon or peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour and baking powder.
- Whisk together wet ingredients: In another bowl, blend yogurt, eggs, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures, mixing gently until just combined.
- Fold in the blueberries carefully, preserving their shape.
- Grease a cake pan and pour in the batter, smoothing it out.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Serve as a whole cake or cut into small pieces for treats.
Notes
This recipe can be customized using oat flour for a gluten-free option. Ensure to use unsweetened yogurt for your dog’s health.
