Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional, ensure it’s xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup yogurt or coconut yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Gather the blueberries and coconut oil, using fresh blueberries for the best flavor.
- Blend it up: In a blender, combine the blueberries, melted coconut oil, and peanut butter (if using). Blend until smooth; add a little water if it’s too thick.
- Pour into molds: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays, leaving a bit of space at the top for expansion.
- Freeze: Place them in the freezer for about 180-240 minutes, or until completely solid.
- Serve: Pop them out of the molds and give them to your dog on a hot day as a refreshing snack.
Notes
Consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract for flavor, or layer the yogurt between the blueberry mix for a fun twist.
