Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup whole oats
  • 1/2 cup dog-safe peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
  • 1 egg (or egg substitute)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease or line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth, then blend in the peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the beaten egg (or egg substitute) into the mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Combine the oats and blueberries in another bowl.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  6. Bake the batter in the prepared pan for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the bars completely in the pan before transferring them to a cutting board and cutting into squares or rectangles.
