Homemade beef and vegetable chew sticks that are healthy and delicious for your furry friend.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley or basil, chopped
  • 1-2 cups whole wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add the finely chopped carrots and peas to the skillet and sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Combine the sautéed mixture with minced garlic and chopped herbs in a large bowl.
  5. Pour in 1-2 cups of whole wheat flour, mixing until a dough is formed.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into fun shapes.
  7. Place the shapes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and firm. Allow to cool completely before serving.
