Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup finely grated carrots
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat/rice flour)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the ground beef, grated carrots, and egg in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the flour and beef broth gradually, stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough onto a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
Notes
These treats can be customized with different flours and herbs. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week.
