Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, well-mashed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or gluten-free flour if needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash 2 ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter until well combined.
- Gradually mix in 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats and 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour until a stiff dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to shape the biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the biscuits to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Always ensure that the peanut butter is free of xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
