Ingredients

  • Fresh Salmon Fillets
  • Butter
  • Heavy Cream
  • Garlic
  • Lemon Juice and Zest
  • Fresh Herbs (Dill or Parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest; simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add fresh herbs, and season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour half of the lemon butter cream sauce over the salmon and bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
  7. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the salmon before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, consider briefly broiling the salmon just before serving.
