Homemade dog treats combining apples and yogurt for a delicious and healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh apples, finely chopped
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and finely chop the apples, removing any seeds and core.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, yogurt, rolled oats, and cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
  4. Scoop out the mixture and form small balls or flatten them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each treat.
  5. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Let the treats cool completely before serving to your furry friend.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Freeze treats for up to three months.
