Ingredients
- 1 store-bought pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup Gouda cheese, grated or sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh herbs (thyme or sage)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the dough by letting it come to room temperature and rolling it out into desired shape.
- Mix pumpkin puree with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread it evenly on the dough.
- Add Gouda cheese generously on top of the pumpkin layer.
- Scatter fresh herbs over the cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool, slice, and serve warm. Optionally drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Notes
For an extra crispy crust, consider pre-baking the pizza dough for a few minutes before adding toppings.
